Replacement of the fuel filter — petrol models
|

Remember that gasoline is extremely an inflammable liquid! At work with power supply system components observe all taken measures of fire safety. Do not smoke! Do not come nearer to a place of work with open fire or the redurable not protected by a lamp shade! Do not make system service in the premises equipped working on natural gas and heating devices equipped with a control torch (such as водогреи and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., — the substances promoting development of a cancer! Try not to suppose fuel hit on open sites of a body, — use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact to fuel carefully wash hands warm water with soap. Removal
The fuel filter is in a back part of the car, below, before a fuel tank.

- Dump pressure in the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
- Prop up forward wheels противооткатными boots. Поддомкратьте a back of the car also establish it on props.

- Release a collar of fastening of the filter on the car bottom. Before filter removal, mark with an arrow an original direction of movement of a stream of fuel.

- Get under the filter the resembling drain capacity.
- Release sockets and disconnect from the filter fuel hoses, — preliminary put on hoses landing marks. - Take the filter from under the car.

Installation
Installation is made upside-down.

Sockets of fast joining are transferred on assemblage of the new filter from the old. |
Pay attention to following moments:

- Establish adjusting sockets of fast fixing applied on the new filter.
- Track, that the filter has been established by an arrow in a direction of movement of fuel.
- Try not to mix at connection hoses (see marks).
- In summary start the engine and make sure of absence of signs of development of leaks of fuel, in case of need muffle the engine and make corresponding corrections.
